Sr. Product Designer
“Clinical trial technology shouldn’t be challenging to use, That’s why I design to help with the user flow and make the most complicated data capture look and feel simple and easy to use.”
I began my journey at Medrio as the sole designer, collaborating closely with our Product Managers and Product Analysts. Working alongside my manager, I helped grow the design team and led the creation of our comprehensive design kit, ensuring consistency across all products. I took ownership of documenting Medrio’s design patterns and championed design thinking throughout the company. Beyond producing high-quality user flows and mock-ups, I led several key initiatives:
Design System Development: Built and maintained a comprehensive library of reusable components, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the product suite.
Design Thinking Advocacy: Promoted a user-centered approach across teams, facilitating workshops and reviews to embed best practices in product development.
Workflow & Process Optimization: Defined and documented standardized design patterns, improving collaboration between designers, developers, and product teams.
Mentorship & Team Growth: Supported onboarding and mentoring of new designers as the team expanded, fostering a culture of collaboration and design excellence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnered with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to align design decisions with business goals and user needs.

Design System
I believe a strong design system drives consistency, efficiency, and better collaboration across teams. At Medrio, I developed a comprehensive design system that improved both the usability and consistency of our products. By creating and maintaining a library of reusable components and standardized patterns, I helped reduce development time and streamline workflows. This work not only enhanced the overall user experience but also contributed to a more cohesive product suite, ultimately improving customer satisfaction.

Created a system of predefined elements such as buttons, forms, and navigation elements that can be easily accessed and implemented by developers. it helped define the guidelines and rules for how to use these components, ensuring that products are consistent and meet the company's standards. A high-quality user experience that is consistent across all products.

Medrio personas
The Medrio personas I created were designed to help the company better understand and connect with their users. I conducted extensive research and interviews to ensure that the personas were as accurate and detailed as possible. The personas were well-received by the company and have been used to inform design and development decisions.
The Medrio personas consist of the following sections:
Goal: A statement that describes the persona's overall objective.
Daily Challenges: A list of common challenges that the persona faces on a day-to-day basis.
Daily Activities: This is personas activity during the day
Workflow: A step-by-step description of the persona's typical workflow.
Before a Study Begins: A description of the persona's actions and thoughts before a study begins.
During the Study: A description of the persona's actions and thoughts during the study.
Study close out: A description of the persona's actions and thoughts closing a study.
Requirements and Skills for this Role
Created the guidelines and foundations for accessibility in our design style guide, which laid the groundwork for making our app accessible. I have been working in a team of four designers to implement these guidelines and make our app compliant with the WCAG 2.0 standards. I believe that accessibility is a crucial part of good design, and I am committed to making our products accessible to all users.
Accessibility
introduction of Sketch and Figma to the company's design process led to a significant increase in efficiency and productivity. By implementing these tools, we were able to streamline the design process, making it faster and easier to create and share designs. This innovation has had a positive impact on the company's overall design output and has helped to improve the quality of the products it produces.
